The Midlothian Tenants Forum is a Registered Tenants Organisation (RTO) which represents tenants from all over Midlothian. We act as a voice for council tenants on a range of housing issues and help to influence the decisions on housing services.

Membership of the Forum is free to all Council tenants and each year members elect a committee to carry out the business of the Forum. The committee meet on a monthly basis and twice a year they hold open meetings. Our AGM and Tenants Conference are held in the Arts Centre, Dalkeith and we have interesting guest speakers all followed by light refreshments.

We have conducted a programme of estate walkabouts to see the dates and the areas they covered click here .

Our main activities are to:

Work in partnership with Council
Encourage Tenant Participation
Represent Midlothian tenants on Council committees and Regional committees
Influence the development of housing services
Organise estate walkabouts
Produce tenants newsletters
Host the Annual Tenants Conference and regular open meetings
